Steam downloading mods to userdata

Page 2 of 2 - What's the .ckm file for? - posted in General Skyrim Discussion: I have found that they are created when I publish a file on to the Steam workshop, named (my_mod_name).ckm I then removed all my mod files from the data folder and 'subscribed' to my own mod and downloaded it when I next started up Skyrim. The .ckm file was not among the downloaded files and was not needed to play.

if u login to steam, subscribe to a few mods.then close steam, use the skyrim launcher, it will download the mods. they will all packaged in one bsa file per mod. close skyrim launcher after update, open nmm or w/e mod manager u use, and they are there in the load mod order. close that and go to explorer, and look in skyrim/data and find the individual plugin bsa containing the whole kit and

Share it to your friends This is nothing to do with Steam Downloader and the API, and everything to do with the publisher of the game not enabling those who don't own the game on Steam to download workshop mods. The API Steam downloader (and similar web pages and tools) uses is a web-based API - it never had anything to do with the game itself.

So with the recent British Forces update, I can no longer download any mods from the Steam workshop because for some strange reason the download location changed for the mod files. What I mean by this is that the mods files (.sga files) are usually downloaded to the common/Company of Heroes 2/mods folder but now has changed to /steam/userdata

How do i use steam mods for the non-steam version? Hello fellow star dwellers, I usually pirate games before i buy them, I had the same mod problem with Cities Skylines and i had to buy it in order to play with mods, I'm definitely going to buy Stellaris too but not right now.
